Established as a non-profit organization in 2018, the Putnam House offers a welcoming place for older adults to gather for fun and good fellowship.

Putnam House was founded with the notion that building a vibrant and engaged community of older adults is essential to individual and societal well-being. Whether interaction is centered around knitting, making music, cooking lunch, playing bridge, or learning a new skill, people want a place to express themselves, to engage with others, and to build friendships while having fun. It's no surprise, then, that research shows that older adults who participate in senior center programs reap many physical, social, spiritual, emotional, economic benefits.
